The vision of the perfect makeup colors gave Brookline-based hair stylist and makeup artist Luiz Filho the incentive to start his own makeup line. The Brazilian native launched LUZ Cosmetics to guarantee just the right blend of elegant color and texture to enhance a woman's natural beauty.
"I am a true believer that your beauty comes from inside," says Filho. With more than 20 years of experience, Filho has formulated a luxurious range of soft, luminescent products.
He adapts his colors according to each woman's individual personality and style. For a classic look, Filho takes advantage of neutral tones; vibrant, edgy colors are ideal for the avant-garde bride.
With LUZ Cosmetics, there is only one palette of colors to carry through all seasons (updated yearly), which makes shopping for makeup easy and economical, says Filho. He also has created a complete line of skin-care products to keep skin in top condition.
LUZ Cosmetics are sold exclusively at HC Studio in Brookline Village, where Filho works full-time as a hair stylist and makeup artist. Prices range from $9 for a lip pencil to $20 for light-diffusing foundation.
